ROSS AND DISTRICT U3A ARTS AND CRAFTS EXHIBITION
Come and see the work of some of our members at the Ross Library from 6th to 13th May 2008.
There will be examples of different styles of art work, oils, water colours, ink,
pastels and pencil all done by members of our U3A from the Art and Calligraphy group.
The Craft group will be exhibiting textiles, knitting, embroidery, tapestry, beadwork,
cards and lots of other handcrafts which the members have made with enthusiasm. Model
making encompasses the world in miniature and on display will be trains, boats, planes
and dioramas of houses and townscapes. These are individual projects by members,
their group project of a model railway in a quarry is too big to be shown this time.
The world of photography is only bounded by time and energy -
Our U3A is aimed at adults in their 'third age' (after the stage of bring up children),
who love to learn, and who no longer work full-
so why not visit our site on www.rossu3a.org.uk at anytime to suit you?
